Unmasking Homophobia in Cameroon

In Cameroon, where homosexuality is criminalized, the LGBTQ+ community faces rampant homophobia and discrimination. Fear and shame permeate their lives, forcing them to live in secrecy. However, a growing number of activists are unmasking the deep-seated homophobia that permeates society. They courageously share their stories, challenge oppressive laws, and demand recognition and respect for their human rights. By breaking the silence and shining a light on the injustices faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, these activists strive to foster understanding, compassion, and a more inclusive society.
