
In the rural town of Meru, Kenya, a group of young girls who have been victims of sexual violence find a safe haven at the Tumaini Shelter. Founded by Mercy Chidi Baidoo and her husband, the shelter provides medical care, counseling, and a supportive environment for these girls to heal and reclaim their childhoods. As the girls navigate their trauma, a dedicated team of human rights lawyers, researchers, and activists works tirelessly to build a legal case against the perpetrators, challenging the systemic failures of the local police and seeking justice for the girls.
