Iceman: The Final Hours
In 1991, hikers in the South Tyrol mountains of northern Italy discovered the remarkably preserved remains of a man who had been frozen in ice for over 5,000 years. Known as Otzi the Iceman, this ancient individual lived during the Neolithic period, a time of significant societal change. Forensic analysis of his body, including the discovery of a flint arrowhead embedded in his shoulder, has provided scientists with a rare and compelling glimpse into the life and violent death of a man from the Copper Age.
