Dinosaurs: Anatomy of a Disappearance
Sixty-six million years ago, the reign of the dinosaurs came to a sudden and catastrophic end. A massive asteroid, traveling at incredible speeds, struck the Earth in the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico, triggering a chain reaction of global disasters. Earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions, combined with a hail of burning debris and toxic acid, created a hellish environment that wiped out 75% of life on the planet. Those fortunate enough to survive the initial impact were forced to endure a nightmarish, decade-long winter, characterized by unrelenting cold and darkness, which ultimately sealed the fate of the dinosaurs.
