
In the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq, a generation of young people are leaving their homes to seek new lives in Europe, often relying on clandestine smuggling networks to make the dangerous journey. This documentary follows the tragic story of a group of Kurdish travelers who set off on a perilous crossing of the English Channel, only to be met with catastrophic failure and a lack of adequate rescue efforts.
