In the high-altitude villages of the Himalayas, the Sherpa people navigate a rapidly changing world where traditional ways of life are increasingly influenced by the demands of international tourism. Through the stories of three brothers from the village of Thami, the film explores the tension between the self-reliance that has historically defined the Sherpa identity and the modern pressures that pull families apart. As they pursue distinct paths, the brothers reveal the complexities of a culture in transition, where the pursuit of survival and the preservation of heritage are constantly at odds.
