Karl Dönitz - Commander of the Wolfpack

Karl Dönitz, the Grand Admiral of the Kriegsmarine, was a prominent figure in the German Navy during World War II. As the commander of the U-boat fleet, he orchestrated the deadly "Wolfpack" tactic, where U-boats would hunt in coordinated groups to overwhelm Allied convoys. Dönitz's leadership and strategic thinking made him a formidable adversary, and his U-boats inflicted heavy losses on Allied shipping, nearly cutting off Britain from vital supplies. However, the Allies eventually gained the upper hand in the Battle of the Atlantic, and Dönitz's U-boats were largely defeated by the end of the war.
