Otto Strasser - The Nazi Who Hated Hitler

Otto Strasser, a prominent early Nazi ideologue, parted ways with Hitler in the mid-1930s due to his opposition to the fascist elements within the party. A proponent of a more socialist and anti-capitalist interpretation of National Socialism, Strasser criticized Hitler's authoritarianism and his appeasement of big business. After unsuccessfully challenging Hitler's leadership, Strasser was expelled from the party and formed the German Socialist Party. Continuously persecuted by the Nazi regime, Strasser became a vocal critic of Hitler and his policies, condemning the Nazi persecution of Jews and the aggressive expansionism that led to World War II. Strasser's opposition to Hitler earned him the title of "The Nazi Who Hated Hitler," as he remained a staunch advocate for a more egalitarian and principled form of National Socialism throughout his life.
