High in the remote mountains of the Afghan Pamir, a small, isolated community of Kyrgyz nomads struggles to maintain their traditional way of life. As they face the harsh realities of extreme weather, limited resources, and the encroaching influence of the outside world, the tribe must navigate the difficult choices of survival, including the practice of arranged marriages and the devastating impact of opium addiction. Through the eyes of a young chief and his family, the film captures the poignant and often heartbreaking reality of a people fighting to preserve their culture and future in an unforgiving landscape.
