Trajan - Rome's Last Conqueror

Trajan, who reigned from 98 to 117 CE, was the last great conqueror of the Roman Empire. His military campaigns expanded Rome's borders to their maximum extent, incorporating Dacia (modern Romania), Arabia Petraea (modern Jordan), and Mesopotamia (modern Iraq). Trajan also commissioned the construction of numerous public works, including the Trajan's Column, which commemorates his victory in Dacia, and the Trajan's Forum, a magnificent complex of buildings in Rome. Trajan's conquests and legacy secured his place as one of the most successful and influential emperors in Roman history.
