Eva Braun, born Eva Anna Paula Braun on February 6, 1912, became recognized as the wife of Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazi Party in Germany. Braun first met Hitler in 1929 when she worked as an assistant and model for Hitler's personal photographer Heinrich Hoffmann. Despite their significant age difference, a relationship developed between them, though it remained concealed from the public until the final days of World War II. In the Führerbunker in Berlin, Braun and Hitler were married on April 29, 1945, less than 40 hours before committing suicide together the following day.
