Women Outward Bound

In the summer of 1965, twenty-four young women from diverse backgrounds embarked on a transformative four-week survival course in the Minnesota wilderness. As the first all-female group to participate in an Outward Bound program in the United States, they faced grueling physical challenges, including navigating rugged terrain and enduring harsh conditions, while learning to rely on one another and themselves. Decades later, these women reunited to reflect on the profound impact of their shared experience, which fundamentally reshaped their understanding of their own capabilities and the power of community.
