In the Mubende region of Uganda, a community of small-scale farmers faces a devastating struggle after being forcibly evicted from their ancestral lands to make way for a large-scale coffee plantation. The displacement, which began in 2001, has left families destitute, struggling with poverty, malnutrition, and the loss of their livelihoods. As they fight for justice and compensation, the film highlights the human cost of corporate land grabs and the ongoing battle for the rights of the dispossessed.
